| CAD Standards

MMSD implemented a new version of CAD Standards in April of 2010.
Updated MMSD CAD Standards are available for viewing and download (PDF format) below. Additional resources, standard blocks, templates, etc. will be posted in 2011.
MMSD requires that all new project drawings are submitted in accordance with these updated standards. New project drawing deliverables that do not comply with these standards will not be accepted and will be returned to the consultant for correction.
Summary of 03/04/2011 Revisions:
- Section 1.3 - Availability of electronic CAD Standards on MMSD.com
- Section 2 - Bentley MicroStation V8i SS1 upgrade
- Section 4.1 - Clarify that all deliverables must be in MicorStation dgn format
- Section 4.1.1 - Clarify that new leveling conventions will not be implemented until October 2010
- Section 4.1.4 - The "Jones Island Conversion Formula.xls" is available on MMSD.com
- Section 4.1.4 - The "South Shore Conversion Formula.xls" is available on MMSD.com
- Section 4.2 - Clarify that, unless otherwise discussed at the CAD Kickoff meeting, State Plane
- North should generally be used on all drawings
- UPDATE of QA Checklist to reflect MicroStation V8i SS1
- Made available Electronic Drawing Deliverable Excel Template
